Negotiations Update Session #8

On June 15, WSNA and Seattle King County met for the 8th day of negotiations. We reached several TAs that will positively impact the bargaining unit. Our team was able to convince the County to withdraw proposals related to additional work expectations. Your message came through loud and clear that this was a high priority. However, there is still work to do.

It was unsettling to hear that the County will not be filling the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) position and instead is looking to reassign those tasks. We requested that the County provide a detailed proposal related to this significant change.

The next scheduled bargaining sessions are June 28 and July 10.

Make sure you mark your calendar for the next WSNA Lunch and Learn on July 5 at 12:05 p.m. on Teams.
