GOVERNOR’S VISIT TO SKAGIT REGIONAL HEALTH

Tuesday, February 28, 2023, approximately 2 p.m.

We have learned that Governor Inslee is going to be on site at Skagit Regional Health Medical Center. The Governor is responding to some concerns received at his office about staffing issues however, the message from his office is that he really wants to talk with nurses and let them know how much he personally appreciates the work and effort put in especially during the pandemic.

We have learned that he will be rounding throughout the facility likely with administration during this time. This is not a visit that WSNA has arranged or coordinated, however feel free to discuss any challenges you all face in providing care to your community members. If you have an opportunity to have photos taken with the governor, please feel free to share by sending to Sue Dunlap at sdunlap@wsna.org and we will be happy to share them on our Facebook group as well as in the newsletter update coming out shortly.

I look forward to hearing how this visit went!
