Special payment on most recent paycheck

Many of us noted a small special payment amount on our most recent check from Skagit. The accompanying notification indicated this was our ratification payment.

Please note: this is not our ratification bonus! This amount was merely a lump sum reflecting the 0.5% wage increase from 6/17/19 through 6/30/19 on our gross wages.

On the July 25, 2019 payday, nurses will receive the agreed-upon ratification payment ($1,500 for 1.0 FTE nurses, prorated for nurses with less than 1.0 FTE, and $200 for per diem nurses).

Skagit has indicated to WSNA that it has sent out a clarifying communication

Thank you for all who let WSNA know of this confusion and rest assured the hospital is also aware of the misleading information provided with this payment.
