Hospice of the Northwest sale

WSNA is aware of the potential sale of Hospice of the NW to Bristol Hospice. We are also aware of the incredible impact this will have on the staff who provide this critical service and the negative effect this may have on the communities and patients you serve. Please know WSNA is utilizing every resource to assist all of you in your fight to preserve the valuable service!

At this time, WSNA has taken the following steps

  1. A formal request for information has been submitted asking for details on the potential sale and a projected timeline. You may read the full letter here.
  2. WSNA is assisting in scheduling a video town hall with your local legislators to provide staff an opportunity to speak directly with those who represent you and your community.
  3. WSNA is utilizing our national affiliates to further assist in this endeavor to preserve Hospice of the NW.
  4. WSNA members can speak at the public hospital district board of commissioner’s meetings. They include:

Skagit Regional Board next meeting Nov. 20 at 8 a.m.
