PPE at Skagit

Worried about your PPE? Do you want to have a say in PPE supply to your department?

Governor Inslee has issued a proclamation that hospitals must have a PPE committee that will meet twice a month to discuss current PPE supply and demand, burn rate, supplier delivery options etc. The goal is to keep you, your co-workers and the patients safe while receiving care at Skagit. We need volunteers to advocate for the right equipment at the right time to the right people! Please contact Sue Dunlap at sdunlap@wsna.org if you would like to be a part of this committee. Together we can make a difference and protect each other. Your sister union will also have representation from the other service workers covered under UFCW on this committee, so it is not just nurses.

We do need a representative from the following areas: General Clinics, Urgent Care / ARC , Emergency, Surgical service, Med-surg inpatient, CCU / PCC and FBC.

When replying with interest please include your name, home email, cell phone, department and shift you work. This is paid time and you will be relieved to attend if you are working. At this time, it is virtual meeting, so no travel is necessary.
