We have a contract!

We are happy to report that the contract was approved ( or ratified) by you the members yesterday with an overwhelming yes response to the contract. Thank you to EVERYONE who showed up to vote and to every team member who was there to answer questions and assist during the vote.

WHAT’S NEXT?
The contract as proposed will now be voted on by the board and we understand there is a special session occurring on August 10. We are optimistic that this will actually put those base wage increases into your bank account sooner.
The contract is then reviewed with the proverbial “fine tooth comb” and once that is completed it will be distributed to both Skagit Management and your WSNA negotiating team members for their signature. When every signature is obtained, the contract is then posted for all. This obviously doesn’t happen overnight so in this interim period of time, if you have any questions please reach out to one of the officers who can answer those for you.

STAY TUNED
Thank you to everyone who voted yesterday. It was so good to actually spend time with all of you in person at the vote. There were some very hard but yet very enlightening conversations and the team heard from a lot of you your concerns. Please note: the fight especially for staffing is not over! Please continue to display car signs, use the hashtag to post photos on social media (#SupportSkagitRNs ) and encourage conversation with your friends in the public. There will be more to come on this hot topic!
