Breaking news and corrected meeting times

Management *finally* came to the table with some responses to our economic proposal from early February. Suffice it to say, we are disappointed. Management rejected our proposal to add steps for nurses who have been here more than 30 years, didn’t respond to our proposal to have night shift differential apply to all hours if the majority of the nurse’s hours are worked on night shift, and are still proposing substandard raises that keep us below the other hospitals in the area. We proposed an increase to relief charge pay, an increase for resource nurses, and an increase to call pay that recognizes how much more call everyone has done this last year (management responded with a 15 cent increase!).

Keep checking your emails, our Facebook page, and your texts for more information on solidarity actions and how we can support our bargaining team through our unity. We meet again on Friday.
