Management Finally Delivered Their Wage Proposal Join Us Friday When We Respond

Observers

A month after we presented our comprehensive wage proposal, management finally presented their counterproposal at our seventh negotiation session. We were disappointed with what they brought to the table – they failed to come even close to wages at comparable facilities across the river and refused to engage on minimum staffing levels. While we’d proposed increases that help us recruit and retain experienced nurses, they proposed terms that make our contract term more convenient for their accounting teams.

We’re not giving up on safe staffing levels and fair wages. Click here to RSVP to join us Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the HEC Auditorium, where we’ll present our signed petition to management demanding a commitment to safe staffing that matches what our peers in Oregon will get by default starting later this year.
