Negotiations update

This week, we meet with management twice, and so far we are not happy with the progress of negotiations. Our contract expires in less than a week and management still has not given us their economic proposal. At this late stage, the Hospital is now proposing a take-away – it wants to get rid of the language that protects nurses 65 and over from taking mandatory call. That language has been in the contract for years, and we fought hard for it. Now is the time to show our solidarity - we are front line workers who have been sacrificing for our community and PeaceHealth responds with disrespect and take-aways.

Wear your stickers and your pins, and stay tuned for our next actions.
