Hello, my name is Jared Richardson, and I am the new WSNA nurse representative for St. Clare Hospital. Over the last few months, I have been working closely with Barbara Friesen to take over as the lead rep for St. Clare. Moving forward I will be the primary contact if you need a nurse representative. Have no fear, Barbara will still be around and will be using her considerable talents to help us continue to improve working conditions at the hospital. I have also gotten to know the local unit officers, and I am thoroughly impressed by what a great team of leaders you have. I look forward to working closely with them to help make St. Clare a better workplace for nurses. 

A little about me, prior to working for WSNA I was the local unit co-chair at Good Samaritan hospital. I have been married for 17 years and have 15- and 11-year-old girls. I also have two standard poodles, Fiona and Francis, and two cats Rocket and Kwitten Quarantino. I am also a passionate advocate for worker’s rights, and I get out of bed every morning excited to be able to fight for the nurses at St. Clare.
