Meet Your New Nurse Leaders – Cafeteria Time This Tuesday!

We’re excited to share that our newly elected WSNA Local Unit Board at St. Joe’s will be holding our first official meeting on Tuesday, August 5. These are the nurses you elected to represent you at the table and lead our union work for the coming term.

Stop by during Cafeteria Time!

After our Board meeting, we’ll be hosting cafeteria time from 1200 to 1500. This is your chance to:

  • Meet your new officers
  • Ask questions about the union or workplace issues
  • Say hello and connect with fellow nurses
  • Grab some candy and WSNA swag

Whether you’re new to the unit or a long-time member, we’d love to see you. Swing by, say hi, and let us know what’s on your mind.

Hospital Staffing Committee – August 6 at 0800

The next Hospital Staffing Committee (HSC) meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 6 at 0800. This is a critical opportunity for nurses to show up, stand together, and focus on the work of safe staffing. When we show up in numbers, we make it clear that staffing is not just a contractual obligation—it is a patient safety issue and a top priority for every nurse at St. Joe’s.

Your presence matters. Let's continue to push for the staffing our patients and nurses deserve.
