Holiday Pay Grievance Update

This Thanksgiving we are grateful for nurses who refuse to let problems go unchecked. When one of our own, Sydney Coffey, noticed that their holiday pay did not seem accurate, they raised the concern and brought it to the Union. After attempting to resolve the issue directly, we filed a grievance. Today we are pleased to share the outcome. Following an audit of Symplr, more than 600 WSNA nurses at St. Joe’s will receive retroactive holiday pay. The total payout is over $33,000.00.

This victory is a clear reminder that every voice in our union matters. When nurses speak up, we uncover problems. When we take action together, we win solutions. No issue is too small. No concern is unimportant. One nurse speaking up created real change for hundreds of coworkers.

Thank you for your vigilance, your solidarity, and your commitment to one another. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and know that your union is here, working beside you every step of the way. We look forward to seeing you around the hospital.
