Negotiations update

Peer support

We had some considerable success at our twelfth session on Monday, August 12. We were able to reach an agreement for the community hospice after hours program and had some very enlightening discussion on all the contract issues. There are some big issues still on the table including your EIB! But, we are prepared to get the contract done.

Our next session is Friday, August 16 at the HEC beginning at 9 a.m. and we are planning on staying until it is done. Please show your support and be there for all or part of the session. Let’s show management we stand together in our very reasonable demands for a fair contract now! Your support has added credence to the words of your team – lets keep the momentum going. Remember, the team volunteers their time. If you are able, consider donating PTO to help offset their volunteer time.

Thank you again for helping your team!
