Management continues to disappoint

More than 60 RN observers stood strong behind the bargaining team to show solidarity and support at bargaining today. Thanks to everyone that came!

Management left today around 1330 without presenting anything new or responding to our latest proposal. In addition, they canceled tomorrow’s bargaining session because they don’t know if their decision makers will be available. We pushed them to say that they will come to the table on Friday with the authority to bring this contract to a close.

We invite all nurses go come and observe bargaining on Friday, 4/22, at 0930! BRING A CAN OF SOUP: Remember that free bowl of soup you got for a while? The hospital said it cost them too much, so they stopped it for most staff. Let’s send a symbolic message about that. If you plan to come as an observer, please bring at least one can of soup. We will donate those to local families in need afterwards.

LOCATION: Holiday Inn, 4260 Mitchell Road, by the Bellingham Airport.
