Come to Cafeteria Time tomorrow!

Please join us for our WSNA Nurse Representative Hanna Welander's final Cafeteria Time to wish her well as she retires this September! Grace Jones, the Nurse Rep who has taken over Hanna's assignment, will be present and would love to meet you and hear your questions and concerns. We will be in the cafeteria on Tuesday, August 1 from 1130-1500; just look for the WSNA signs and shirts. We have lots of WSNA swag; you can sign up for a prize drawing!

Memorandum of Understanding reached:  Return to Work for Nurses on Covid Leave of Absence

Your bargaining team and PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center have reached an agreement via an MOU on the COVID Leave Return to Work process. Nurses that remain on approved COVID Leave of Absence are eligible to attain another position through the job posting process now have until August 7, 2023, to return to work in a new role. Nurses that do not attain a position through the job posting process by this extended deadline will be separated from employment with PeaceHealth at that time. However,  if they return to PH-SJMC within 12 months, they will be eligible for an adjusted anniversary date for purposes of service awards, PTO accrual rate, and will retain previously accrued WSNA seniority.

Please reach out to your WSNA Nurse Rep, Grace Jones, with any questions: gjones@wsna.org.
