Retention bonus

Many of you have asked about when the retention bonuses will be paid out. Our contract language states the following:

Article 8.5: Retention Bonus: All full-time and part-time nurses on the payroll as of the date of ratification of this Agreement and remaining on the payroll as of April 30, 2022, are eligible to receive a one-time lump sum bonus of $500, less applicable deductions, payable in the first full pay period after April 30, 2022.

You will see your retention bonus in your next paycheck. The current pay period is the first full pay period after April 30.

Vacation/Holiday/Sick time accruals

Management is aware of many inconsistencies regarding employee’s accrual rates. They have assured WSNA that they are looking at each employee to make sure that their accruals are correct. If you believe your current accruals are incorrect, please contact Cammy Price, HR at Cammy.Price@astria.health.

When the payroll system was updated there were a lot of errors and management wants to make it right.
