Tentative Agreement Redline is Now Available!

We have been working our butts off to get a redline of the tentative agreement (TA) available for everyone to look at before the electronic ratification vote on Friday. Take some time to read over the TA, and if you have any questions reach out to a bargaining team member or email Jared at JRichardson@WSNA.org. You can view the redline TA by following the link below. Please note that redlines may still require formatting and minor non-substantive changes and may look different than the finalized version.

This TA is a huge win for all the nurses at Tacoma General, and while we did not get everything we wanted, it sets us up for success and to keep the fight going. Your bargaining team endorses a YES vote on the TA.

When and How to Vote

Voting will occur entirely electronically on Friday, February 6, from 0600-1600. An electronic, individualized, ballot will be sent to your personal email address at 0600 on Friday. If you have any difficulty getting a ballot, please reach out to Jared at JRichardson@WSNA.org

This TA is an example of what we can accomplish when we all come together to fight for better staffing, stronger wages, and improved working conditions.

PTO Donations to the Bargaining Team

Your bargaining team had a dozen bargaining sessions ranging from 10-16 hours each, prep sessions, work around events like bargaining boot camp, march on the boss, sign making parties, and for the picket. Each member is a volunteer and used their own PTO to cover time off to attend bargaining sessions.

WSNA nurses at TG are able to donate PTO to the bargaining team to help them recoup the time they used. Please show your support for your bargaining team by donating PTO. If each nurse donated just 1 hour, the team would be completely reimbursed for the time they spent fighting for this contract.

You can fill out a PTO donation form by following the link below. Please email completed forms to Jared at JRichardson@WSNA.org
