Bargaining Begins Tomorrow
Posted Oct 13, 2025
Tomorrow, October 14, your WSNA bargaining team meets management for the first session on our new contract. We have prepared for months. We have worked language with our attorney. We are ready to put proposals on the table that reflect what nurses at Tacoma General need to deliver safe care and build careers that last.
Our goals are clear. Better wages. Safer staffing. Stronger protections. Respect on every unit. We get there by standing together and making our unity visible from day one.
How to show unity tomorrow
- Wear your WSNA T-shirt on bargaining days.
- Sticker up at the start of your shift.
- Pick up gear in the cafeteria on 10/14 from 0600 to 1100. Officers and unit reps are also distributing on the units.
- Need a shirt? Email Jared at JRichardson@WSNA.org and we will get one to you.

We will send an update after tomorrow’s session with what we proposed and how it went.
Starting October 21 at 2000, join our weekly “Spill the Tea with TJ” virtual meetings with Union Chair Therese Juntunen for Q and A and bargaining updates.
Every improvement we have ever won started with nurses standing up together. Tomorrow we do it again. Wear your shirt. Sticker up. Talk to your coworkers. When we act as one, MultiCare listens. When we act as one, we win.
