Today our Local Unit Officers met with Multicare to discuss a wage increase for nurses in the bargaining unit. We reached a tentative agreement about an additional wage increase for 2022, resulting in total wages increasing 8.8%.

• Nurses will receive the 3.5% wage increase scheduled for Jan. 2, 2022, per the CBA.
• Nurses will now receive an additional 5.3% wage increase starting April 10, 2022.

Contract negotiations start next year, so additional wage increases will be discussed as a part of those discussions.
