We have a Tentative Agreement!

PH united we stand

Our bargaining team, who led the charge during the 8 negotiation sessions, secured an agreement they can confidently recommend for a YES vote. We achieved wages higher than those of St. Joseph's and an agreement to provide break nurses with a third-tier float position.

Your bargaining committee won:

  • Significant Wage Increases that will make us the highest paid nurses north of Everett:
    • Year 1: $4.50 across the board wage increase, which represents an average first year improvement of 7.4%, with improvements ranging from 5.7% to 10%, depending on your current step.
    • Year 2 Increase of 3.75% and Year 3 Increase of 3.25% for all steps
    • Cumulative 3 year wage improvements will range from 13.2% to 18.3%, depending on Step. The average improvement over the three years of the contract is 15%.
    • The elimination of “ghost” or “0%” Step Increases, so that all years of service are recognized with a wage improvement. If you are currently at a “ghost step”, your first year wage improvement will include both an immediate percentage-based improvement to your step in addition to the $4.50 increase.
    • All increases are effective the first pay period of November.
    • The annual pay increases start two months earlier than the previous contract (i.e. wage improvements will become effective 11/1/2026 rather than 1/1/2027.

The bargaining team will be sharing a comprehensive summary of our tentative agreement tomorrow, Friday October 23, and will share the “redline” edited version of our new contract as soon as Peace Health management finishes reviewing the final draft.

Your bargaining team recommends a YES vote. Voting will take place electronically on October 29, 2026 from 0630-2000.

Support Your Bargaining Committee With a PTO Donation

Our bargaining team spent all 8 days of negotiations and countless hours on preparation, keeping all UG nurses informed about what was happening at the table and what we all needed to do to show our solidarity. Now, we can show our appreciation for their hard work that led to a great contract by donating PTO to them.
