Your Health Benefits are secure for the 2027-2029 bienniem
Your Coalition of Unions that included WSNA, met with the Public Employment Benefits Board (PEBB) to negotiate the percentage split for Employee vs Employer contributions for the next couple of years. While the PEBB came out with a proposal that included takeaways for each year, we were able to stave these off and ended up with all parties agreeing to maintain the 85%/15% split that is currently in place.
Given the significant budget deficit we are in on a state-wide level, we were pleased to be able to maintain this status quo for our members.
Our Fellow Union Colleagues are experiencing challenges at the Bargaining Table....
Action happening today!
SEIU 925 classified workers are currently in the midst of bargaining. At multiple sessions, the employer has offered Zero Wages Year one, and Zero wages year two, along with some takeaways. The offer from the employer has been Zero and Zero for other state workers as well.
SEIU 925 is coordinating an action Today, Tuesday, Sept 15 from 3:30 to 6 pm. They are meeting as a group at the big "W" on Montlake and Pacific at 3:30 and then marching up to Gateway. Program will start at 5:30pm at Gateway.
If you are not working at that time and want to support our Union siblings with SEIU 925, show up and wear your WSNA T-Shirts in solidarity!
Cafeteria Time
On Thursday, September 17, WSNA Nurse Representative Ed Zercher, along with a WSNA Officer, will be available in the rear of the cafeteria to answer any questions you may have.

Bargaining Survey has been launched
We are starting to gather bargaining priorities for RNs early this year in order to bolster participation in anticipation for our upcoming bargaining that will start in the spring of 2027.
The survey results will drive our bargaining priorities for these negotiations.
It only takes about 5 minutes so make sure you fill it out today and encourage all of your RN colleagues to do the same.
Together, we win!
