Bargaining update

Your WSNA team of registered nurses met with UWMC management and administration on Tuesday, March 16 for our first bargaining session. The parties came to agreement on the “ground rules” governing the negotiation sessions and presented proposals.

We will be meeting again for our second session on Wednesday, April 7. We currently have 7 dates on the calendar for these negotiations. We commit to keeping the amazing RNs at UWMC informed as to our progress and obstacles. Thanks to everyone that completed the pre-negotiation surveys that have been so helpful in guiding the priorities of the team.

Since we have started the process of negotiations, it is more important than ever that you submit Staffing Complaint/ADO Forms to aid in providing data on the topic of staffing. It takes just 90 seconds to log an ADO using this online ADO form.

It is vital for the safety of your patients that you fill out a Staffing Complaint/ADO Form EVERY time your unit is short staffed RNs or support staff. This is the best way to document staffing shortfalls and create a path to positive change.
