UWMC Montlake RNs vote "YES" to ratify the Tentative Agreement
Posted Nov 26, 2025
On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, WSNA conducted an electronic vote for our successor contract that was negotiated between your WSNA bargaining team and the employer.
RNs voted "YES" to ratify the contract as proposed.
A big thanks to everyone that made voting a priority and made their way through the new electronic ballot system.
WSNA Counsel and Nurse Representative will be working to get a final contract posted on the WSNA Website within the next couple of weeks.
Expect our raises to hit the first pay period in December.
We Are Not Done Yet
Despite getting a contract we can agree to, that doesn’t mean the work is over. We have things to do which include:
- Bargaining effects of the loss of 28/160; we need to set a team and dates.
- Officer Nominations starting week of 12/8 and Elections in January
- Unit Steward trainings
- Lobby day on January 29th
- Our Leadership Conference April 26-28
- New Employee Union Onboarding
- Whatever else that comes up
If you are interested in any of the above, contact WSNA Representative Ed Zercher at ezercher@wsna.org or contact one of your WSNA Local Unit Officers
Together, we win!
