Newsflash: This is time-sensitive for our assessment survey closing this week!
Posted Dec 2, 2025
The path forward 1-question survey has been extended until December 5. Please do not delay if you have not yet completed the survey, as it will inform your team’s next steps to:
- Keep escalating and bargaining past contract expiration on December 31, 2025, building toward a strike after January 1, 2027 (the earliest we could lawfully strike)
OR
- Wrap up negotiations and hold a vote on the numerous gains thus far, including January 2026 wage increases and increased bilingual premium, among others listed in the survey.
We recognize that this may be a difficult choice to make, even after more than 11 months of bargaining. This survey informs your team about crucial next steps. It is not a vote about whether or not to strike at present. Thank you to the nurses who have already submitted their responses and support pictures showing that a strong fair contract includes our families, too! A lack of response will be interpreted as a vote to wrap things up. Please read all WSNA communications to stay current with progress and send us your questions. Your responses are confidential. We must, however, be able to attribute responses to a first and last name of the nurse to confirm they belong to our local unit.
Here is the survey:
