Code responders, new contract and more!

CODE RESPONDERS

If you serve as a code responder during a shift (or part of a shift), the hospital has stated you should enter this as “charge nurse” pay for the entire shift in the KRONOS system in order to receive the premium pay.  Code responders are now eligible for charge nurse pay when they fill this role during a shift. If you were not paid, please put in for a payroll correction. If you do not hear back within a few days, please contact your nurse representative.

WHERE IS THE NEW CONTRACT

The new contract is still being formatted and checked for accuracy. Once that process is complete, it will go out for signatures. Yes, the new contract currently in effect. If you have specific questions about new language, please contact your nurse representative.  We will notify you when it has been posted online.

TRAVEL

If you are required to travel for training (i.e. Tacoma), you are entitled to be paid for your travel and time. Ask your manager where you submit the information for reimbursement. If you are not paid, please contact your nurse rep ASAP.

Happy Holiday!
