UPDATE  - CLOSURE OF THE FBC EFFECTS BARGAINING

Your bargaining team met yesterday afternoon to bargain over the effects of the Family Birth Center closure. We had a huge representation of the nurses from that unit in attendance.  We passed a proposal including topics such as retention and severance pay, healthcare benefits coverage, forgiveness for residency or other repayment agreements, payout of promised bonuses and more. We will be meeting again on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 pm and expect to receive management’s response to our proposal.

If you are in the FBC and are interested in a fellowship in a unit at the hospital, please let Donna Watts know which unit or  contact your nurse rep, Sara Frey at sfrey@wsna.org.

In solidarity,
Chair - Hannah Collins-Lewis
Vice Chair - Michael Salters
Secretary - Kimberly Travis-Carter
Grievance Officer - Donna Watts
Grievance Officer - Kim Adekoya
