Kronos overpayments

WSNA understands that a number of nurses have been notified that they received overpayments due to the KRONOS breach. Deductions were set to begin on Friday, March 24, 2022. WSNA believes VM’s plan to withdraw money from nurses’ paychecks without consent, violates state law. VM has agreed to hold off starting the deductions at this time. For the few nurses who agreed to have it all withdrawn up front, those deductions will take place as it was too late to stop them. Nurses need to have a clear understanding of how the figures were arrived at and agree on amounts owed. To be clear, this does not mean that you may not owe backpay but the method to recoup any overpayments, must conform to state law. The hospital also must bargain with the union. While the methods to recoup the money may seem fair, WSNA wants to insure your rights are protected. We will provide more information once we have had a chance to schedule some time to meet with the hospital.
