Celebration for Nurses Week!

We want to celebrate you. We will be offering the nurses a token of appreciation during Nurses week. Please come by to say hi, meet your officers, nurse rep, and unit reps.

When:
5/6/21: 0600-0830
5/8/21: 1000-2000
5/12/21: 0600-1500

Where
Outside at the Lindeman Patio

During this event, we want to be able to continue to keep all safe and we will be following the safety practices.

  • People do need to remain masked
  • Encourage social distancing (6 feet apart)
  • Anyone in hospital-issued scrubs (aka surgical scrubs) cannot be outside per Virginia Mason’s organizational policy
  • Avoid food or drink, which results in people removing their masks while around others

Nominate an RN colleague for Nurses Week!

There has been a lot of talk about heroes lately and we know that both heroes and heroic deeds can come in all shapes and sizes. Here is your chance to shine the spotlight on some of those deeds great and small!

Who has been having a hard time lately? Who consistently goes above and beyond? Who did that one small thing that brightened your day or a patient's day and deserves recognition?

Please click the link to submit a nomination for a WSNA nurse colleague to win a getaway. The last day to make your nomination is May 6 and prizes will be announced on May 12 at the nurses week event.

In solidarity,

Your WSNA Officers: Jane Hill Little-John, Kari Benning, Susan Dunn, Suzanne Baek, and Arlene Alba
