Safety Committee Members Needed

We are looking for nurses to join the Safety Committee. An active safety committee is required by law as well as by your collective bargaining agreement. The committee is tasked with reviewing safety incidents such a workplace violence and coming up with plans to address those incidents. Nurses have been reporting that workplace violence is occurring on a number of units. We need RNs present so they have a voice in solutions to adequately address the problems.

The first meeting will be held on July 26 from 1500-1600. We would ideally like to have RN representation from every unit. This meeting is on paid time. This is a great opportunity to be involved! This meeting will be held virtually.

If you are interested in joining, please contact your nurse representative, Sara Frey sfrey@wsna.org
