Reminder – Virtual Future and Current Union Leader Meeting Thursday, February 23

Calling all future and current leaders of WSNA!

WSNA will be holding a virtual meet and greet on February 23, 2023, from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.

This meeting is for anyone who is curious and wants to learn more about stepping up and making things better at VM and for those who already hold a leadership position. We will be going over how you can represent and support your unit in upcoming negotiations, what official supporting roles can look like for bargaining, and unit rep roles and responsibilities followed by union updates and time to bring forward any comments, concerns, and questions about issues you are facing on the floor every day.

If you don’t know who your unit rep is, your unit might not be currently represented! Maybe you already know that you don’t have a unit rep. Either way, it is essential going into negotiations that every unit have a voice and these leadership roles are what make that all possible. There is no limit to the amount of unit reps you can have on any unit.

Please join us Thursday to learn more, or reach out to our WSNA organizer Crystal Doll at cdoll@wsna.org to get plugged in.
