WSNA officer elections 2022

Deadline to complete the survey is April 11, 2022

The term of office for the current set of WSNA officers ends June 2022. This nomination survey, is the first step of formal officer elections. By being a part of the WSNA officer team, you are a part of the negotiating team and a body of dynamic nursing leaders who have been given the authority to make critical decisions in the best interest of the nurses, though various platforms. Aside from negotiations, the officers engage in Conference Committee which occurs every other month on paid time. It’s a forum where the officers bring issues from the nurses forward to be addressed in a timely manner. As officers, you work closely with WSNA Nurse Rep Jaclyn Smedley to run the local unit.

Officer bonus: If nominated, and the nurse agrees to be on the ballot for potential election to a WSNA officer position, the current WSNA officers are offering reimbursement for the WSNA Leadership Conference in beautiful Lake Chelan! This deal includes lodging and registration to be paid via the local unit funds - $500 value! For each nomination received, WSNA Nurse Rep, Jaclyn Smedley will call to confirm interest before the name is placed on the ballot and to discuss the officer bonus offer.
