It is a YES to your new contract!

Nurses at Whidbey turned out in force yesterday to approve your newly negotiated, 2022 – 2025 contract! If you missed out on the details, a summary is available on your WSNA webpage at https://www.wsna.org/union/whidbey-general-hospital/past-updates. The parties will now get the document ready for and obtain signatures. Once that is completed, it will be posted to this same webpage. In the meantime, if you have questions about the changes or have a situation that may involve the new language, please contact your nurse rep for assistance.

Your team spent dozens of hours working on these negotiations. Did you know you can donate PTO money to help offset hours they lost at work? This money does not go to WSNA but goes directly to your fellow nurses who represented you at these negotiations. If you have not donated PTO time to your negotiation team to help offset time off to attend negotiations, it would be greatly appreciated. You can donate as little as one hour. If you would like to donate PTO, please see the MOU for more information and download the form to be submitted. The form should be submitted to HR and the deadline is May 9.

In solidarity,

Rebecca Pina, Co-chair, Walk-in clinic Oak Harbor
Luka Cobb, Secretary/Treasurer, Hospice
Laura Black, Grievance Officer, MS
Ann Bell, PACU
Dori Painter, PACU
Louisa Dizon, ER
