 Local Unit Meeting This Week!

This week your officers are hosting a local unit meeting to address questions, comments, and concerns as we embark on negotiating our wage reopener. Plus, there will be delicious food to enjoy! Your attendance is vital - together, we can foster positive changes in our workplace. Don't forget to bring a coworker! It takes all of us to use our voice and ensure we get wages that will recruit and retain nurses in our hospital.

WHEN:  Wednesday, March 6
TIME:    11:30 .a.m. – 1 p.m. – HR Conference room
               6  – 7:30 p.m. – HEC Conference room A/B

Want to Get Involved?

If you're passionate about contributing to positive transformations in our workplace, representing your colleagues' concerns, and actively engaging with WSNA, consider joining the staffing committee. We're seeking representation from every unit, and your voice is crucial in advocating for your unit’s staffing requirements. The staffing meeting is scheduled for every third Wednesday of the month, and it's paid time, with duty relief provided. If you're interested, please reach out to Luka Cobb at lukamackay@gmail.com. Additionally, we're seeking dedicated Local Unit Reps to advocate for their colleagues and ensure every nurse is represented. You can allocate as much or as little time to this role as you prefer, as long as it's at least one hour per month. If you'd like to get more involved as a Unit Rep, contact WSNA Organizer Grace LaMonte at glamonte@wsna.org.
