Tentative Agreement Ratified – Our Collective Voice Prevails
Posted Jul 28, 2025
We are proud to announce that the tentative agreement has been ratified by a majority vote of WSNA nurses. This outcome is a powerful reflection of our collective voice, the strength of our democratic process, and our unwavering solidarity as a union.
Our new contract is now in full effect as of July 1, 2025, including historic wage increases, differential raises, and the elimination of ghost steps. These hard-fought wins are the direct result of nurses showing up, standing together, and demanding better—for ourselves, our patients, and our profession.
This agreement isn’t perfect—no contract ever is. But the new language in this deal moves us forward. And we’re not done. We’ll continue pushing for the improvements our profession deserves.
What’s Next: Implementation, Enforcement, and Organizing
Ratification is not the finish line—it’s the beginning of our next phase:
- Implementing and enforcing the wins we secured
- Filing grievances when needed
- Building power by organizing and bringing more nurses into our union
We are stronger together, and our solidarity grows with every shift we work side by side.
