We Reached a Tentative Agreement — Now It’s Time to Vote
Posted May 19, 2025
On Friday, packed shoulder to shoulder in a small conference room with more than 100 nurses standing strong, we reached a new tentative agreement with management. This wasn’t handed to us — we won it through collective action, persistence, and solidarity.
Since the March TA was rejected, we’ve kept the pressure on. And it worked. Because we stood united, we won:
- Higher wages, including a $4.25 raise in year one
- Elimination of all ghost steps
- A compressed wage scale topping out at Step 30
- Tier 1 pharmacies coming to Bellingham and Ferndale
- Protection of our EIB, with no takeaways
- Full contract inclusion for Hospice nurses
This is a contract your bargaining team believes in. It reflects the strength of our unity, and we strongly recommend a YES vote.
Voting will take place electronically from 0630 on May 22 through 2030 on May 23. Ballots will be sent to your personal email.
