The WSNA Pullman nurses have sponsored two first aid stations at the Lauren's Lap Race in Pullman 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. This event is a 1k, 5k or 10k race to bring awareness to domestic violence.
Lauren McCluskey was murdered by domestic violence while on an athletic scholarship to the University of Utah. Both her parents are professors at WSU, and she grew up in Pullman.
WSNA has partnered with the Lauren McCluskey Foundation for these aid stations and also has a discount code for WSNA nurses interested in running the race themselves. We will have about 10-15 Pullman WSNA nurses staffing these aid stations.
