WSNA’s Union Leadership Conference was held at Campbell’s Resort in Chelan from April 28-30, 2024, with record-breaking attendance. Originally planned for 150 participants, the event sold out quickly, prompting the creation of overflow capacity to accommodate 192 nurse leaders representing 32 local units across Washington state.

The conference spotlighted critical topics including the new staffing law, workplace violence, and equity advocacy. Prominent speakers included April Sims, president of the Washington State Labor Council, and Randi Weingarten, president of AFT, our national union.
