Held every two years, the General Assembly is WSNA’s highest decision-making body. The General Assembly will be meeting on May 1, 2025, at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, in conjunction with the WSNA 2025 Convention. Among its responsibilities are adopting resolutions that establish WSNA policy and reviewing proposed amendments to the WSNA bylaws.

The WSNA Bylaws/Resolutions Committee is inviting proposals for resolutions and for bylaws amendments for consideration by the General Assembly.

The deadline for proposed non-emergency resolutions is January 13, 2025.

The deadline for proposed bylaws amendments is November 18, 2024.

Proposed resolutions

Those resolutions will be made available on the WSNA website and in The Washington Nurse newsletter.

Bylaws proposals

The Committee will also review proposed bylaws amendments received by the deadline and will prepare recommendations to the WSNA Board of Directors for action no later than its January meeting. Board-approved proposed Bylaws amendments will be made available on the WSNA website, in the Washington Nurse newsletter and submitted to the 2025 WSNA General Assembly for consideration.
