Nominations are open for WSNA offices for the 2025-2027 term. Elections will take place this summer.

WSNA is a member-led organization. Members from all parts of the state, all specialties, and a variety of roles shape WSNA’s strategic direction, policy positions, and program priorities. WSNA members also help direct national policy as representatives to the ANA Membership Assembly and delegates to the AFT National Convention.

Positions are open for election to the:

  • WSNA Board of Directors
  • Legislative & Health Policy Council
  • Professional Nursing & Healthcare Council
  • WSNA Nominations/Search Committee
  • Representatives to 2026 & 2027 ANA Membership Assembly
  • Labor Executive Council
  • Labor Nominations/Search Committee
  • Delegate to 2026 AFT National Convention

If you are ready to advance WSNA’s work in advocating for Washington’s nurses, you can nominate yourself or a colleague for a WSNA elected office.

The deadline for inclusion in the initial slate of candidates is Jan. 15, 2025. (There will be further opportunities to be nominated.)

This is an important opportunity to grow your leadership skills, to connect with committed nurses from around the state, to serve, and to help shape WSNA’s direction!
