WSNA election season is here, and members have stepped forward to run for office for the 2025-2027 term.

The members listed on the slate of candidates have consented to run for WSNA elected offices as of March 2025 and will appear on the ballot. Elections will be held by electronic ballot from May 26 to June 26.

Members interested in running for an elected position can still self-declare by submitting a nomination form by 12:30pm on May 1. Forms may be submitted electronically. Candidates who have not submitted a nomination and consent-to-serve form by 12:30 p.m. on May 1, 2025, will not appear on the election ballot.

Nominations will also be accepted from the floor of the WSNA Convention at the time designated in the Convention agenda.

All WSNA members in good standing may run for or be appointed to the WSNA Board of Directors, councils, committees, and serve as a WSNA delegate to the American Nurses Association Membership Assembly.

Only members who are represented by WSNA for collective bargaining (union members) may run for the Labor Executive Council, the Labor Executive Council Nominating/Search Committee, or AFT Convention delegate.
