Central Washington Nurses are patient centered.

Simon Morton, SOU, WSNA Membership officer

Q: Why did you become a nurse?

A: I became a nurse because I've always been interested in the medical field. It was volunteering at CWH that helped narrow down my general interest to a specific and meaningful career.

Q: What does it mean to be a patient advocate?

A: Being a patient advocate is important because most patients don't have the medical literacy or have the information to effectively advocate for themselves. That's where nurses come in. We can speak for the people that we understand and interact with face to face.
