Upcoming PERC Training for nurses

As part of an unfair labor practice settlement filed by WSNA against Evergreen Health, PERC has agreed to education to nursing staff about their labor rights. The training will include information about what PERC is, how it oversees the union activity within Evergreen, what the rights are of the nurses, as well as tips for avoiding ULPs.

PERC is the Public Employee Relations Commission who are tasked with issues such as labor relations, collective bargaining, and resolution of labor-management disputes. Learn more about PERC here: https://perc.wa.gov/.

Training:

January 27 from 0800-1700 (with break for lunch)

This is a full day training, in person, on campus. There is currently no option for virtual attendance. Please speak to your management if you wish to attend but are scheduled to work for the day. They may be able to assist but it depends on the staffing on your unit.
