Contract Negotiations - Session #2
Posted Oct 6, 2025
We met for our second negotiations session on October 1. Management had responses to our 9/24 proposals.
Essentially, they only agreed to "housekeeping" items such as our request to change the word "Association" to "Union" and to use gender neutral pronouns. Our new language and proposals were for the most part rejected.
However, they neither said yes or no to our economic proposals. They did not offer any economics but say they will bring that to the table at a later time. Our economic proposal to Fresenius did include a wage scale, which would help with recruitment and retention, as it would provide competitive wages with the incentive of knowing when you'd advance to a new pay level.
We need ALL of you to pay attention and be prepared to fight for a better contract and better pay. It is clear that we won't get the contract we deserve without a fight.
The current ASK is simple. Every time you go to work; wear your WSNA Swag: Badge Buddies, Badge Reels, Buttons, WSNA Stickers (you can find them on your WSNA bulletin boards). If you have a WSNA t-shirt, wear that at work. Engage in conversations with your bargaining team members and union representatives; and be prepared to do the actions which they ask of you.
Our next session is Wednesday, October 8.
