Contract Negotiations - Session #3
Posted Oct 10, 2025
We met for session #3 on October 8. We exchanged proposals and have resolved some small issues.
We are receiving pushback on our attempts to get Staffing Concern language in the contract. Management did not respond to our economic proposals but say that they will be prepared to do that at our next session on October 21. Our economic proposal to Fresenius does include a wage scale, which would help with recruitment and retention, as it would provide competitive wages with the incentive of knowing when you'd advance to a new pay level. Each session we have asked Fresenius to pay our bargaining team nurses for the time they spend negotiating, but they continue to refuse.
Keep conversations open with your bargaining team members and be prepared to fight for a better contract and better pay. It is clear that we won't get the contract we deserve without a fight.
Sticker Up: Every day at work wear your WSNA stickers, badge reels, badge buddies and buttons. You can find them on your WSNA bulletin board. If you have a WSNA T-shirt, wear it at work.
Our next session is Tuesday, October 21.

Did you know you can use an online ADO form to document any unsafe working condition. Report your staffing concerns in real time to management to give them an opportunity to correct the situation; then fill out the ADO to keep your union informed of the issues.
