Info Picket Tomorrow: We’re Ready to Walk!

Our info picket is tomorrow – Wednesday, May 27 from 0700-0900 and 1500-1730

Location: We’ll have picket lines outside the main hospital entrance and at the 15th Ave SE and Meridian intersection, next to the Hampton Inn. Come out and sign in, grab a picket sign and a snack, and show MultiCare what Good Sam nurses think of their latest “competitive” offer.

Wear your blue, bring your friends and kids, and get ready to represent! All union allies, neighbors, dogs (and union-minded cats) are welcome to join us as we show our MultiCare that our community stands behind us.

If you have questions, food to drop off, or other ways you want to help, reach out to WSNA Organizer Grace at glamonte@wsna.org/206-553-9794.

Picket Sign Contest and Some Sign Inspiration:

We love seeing peoples creative signs – send a picture of yours to GSHaction@wsna.org to enter the contest! Two winners will win 50 dollar gift cards to Michaels craft store after all the signs are voted on by the whole bargaining unit next week.

Just make sure your signs aren’t defamatory to MultiCare, and be mindful that any sign you make might be seen by the media or kids. Use your best judgement!

Here are some past picket signs from Good Sam and other WSNA pickets to get inspired…we’ll have blank signs available before the picket sessions if you aren’t able to make one before!

Our picket three years ago was powerful. It showed MultiCare that they were wrong to underestimate us. Let's prove them wrong again so we can get back to the table and win a fair contract that respects nurses at Good Sam.
