Contract negotiation update

On June 12, 2020 we had our second meeting with hospital administration. We made some progress on non-monetary issues, however we were disappointed that MultiCare Good Samaritan Management offered the following wage increases: 0.75% upon ratification, 1% in April 2021 & 1% in April 2022. This wage proposal does not value or respect the hard work and dedication that the RNs at Good Samaritan hospital bring day in and day out.

Good Samaritan is also proposing significant take aways from its nurses! Good Samaritan Management wants to expand floating, prioritize travelers and agency nurses in the low census rotation, cut Per Diem pay, and cut healthcare. Good Samaritan management is also refusing to agree to retaliation protections.

Our next meeting with management is set for June 19.

We have begun making plans for a meeting with the nurses. Stay tuned for details.
