On June 19, 2020 your negoti­a­tion team met with hospital manage­ment for the 3rd time. We came to tenta­tive agree­ments on bereave­ment time and a premium for those with a BSN or MSN degree. However, we were frustrated that Manage­ment continued to offer the following wage increases: 0.75% upon ratifi­ca­tion, 1% in April 2021, & 1% in April 2022. We are firm in our belief that this wage proposal DOES NOT value or respect the hard work and dedica­tion that the RNs at Good Samar­itan hospital bring especially during this time of COVID-19 crisis.

Good Samar­itan continues to propose signif­i­cant take aways from the nurses! Manage­ment wants to expand floating, give travelers and agency nurses priority in the low census rotation, cut per diem pay, and cut health­care. Manage­ment is also refusing to agree to retal­i­a­tion protec­tions.
