On June 26, 2020 your negoti­a­tion team met with hospital manage­ment for the 4th time. We made some progress, coming to tenta­tive agree­ments on bulletin boards and shift differ­en­tials. However we continue to be far apart on wages. Addition­ally, manage­ment continues to insist on loosening restric­tions on where a nurse can float, giving travelers and agency nurses priority in the low census rotation, cutting per diem pay, and cutting health­care. Manage­ment is also refusing to agree to retal­i­a­tion protec­tions.

We hope that hospital admin­is­tra­tion will come prepared to continue to make progress toward a FAIR CONTRACT at our next session on July 7!


We have sched­uled two Local Unit meetings to discuss contract negoti­a­tions with you:

Meeting #1: July 20, 2020 from 2000 – 2100
Meeting #2: July 21, 2020 from 0800 – 0900
