Negotiations update

We had our first negotiations session with Island Management today! It was a shortened day, but we were able to provide management with a complete proposal. This is our first discussion about the key items that are important to every nurse. We strongly emphasized our priority issues and anticipate some robust conversation particularly around the issue of wages and benefits.

Additionally, your officers have reached out to management to discuss the recent memo sent out by Elise Cutter to all staff and will have a meeting with management about this topic within the next few business days.

It is a totally different experience doing negotiations virtually but your whole team is resolute in emphasizing the high priority issues that you all have identified. Stay tuned for updates coming regularly to an email box near you!

Our next scheduled negotiations date is November 30 and will be an all day event. Your ongoing support of the team working for you is greatly appreciated.
