Important update about attendance and sick leave

New Policies

It has come to our attention that management has issued two new policies regarding attendance and sick leave. WSNA is concerned with some of the language in these policies. We have sent a letter demanding a meeting to discuss our concerns.

Donning and Doffing Grievance

WSNA has filed a grievance for All Affected RNs. Nurses who are required to wear hospital scrubs (in surgical services or the birth center) are to be paid when donning or doffing scrubs. It has come to our attention that the timeclock rounds to the nearest 15 minutes, thereby deducting your rightfully earned wages.
